Staffing and Development

Most QMS employees have extensive industry experience prior to being employed by QMS. We place only top performers at client sites.
We use several job recruitment websites such as Monster.com and Careerbuilder.com when recruiting employees. However, we usually unite with new team members through employee referrals or job seekers reaching out to QMS.
Before making an offer to a potential employee, he/she goes through an extensive background check. This includes previous employment history, local criminal background check and random drug screening. New applicants are screened for job-related skills and experience. Each must sign a confidentiality agreement ensuring client work is never disclosed to a third party and complete an I-9 employment verification form.
Most importantly, in support of our partnerships and mission to provide only the highest quality of people and service, each client has the option to approve every recommended hire. This ensures a sound placement and a good cultural fit.
Field Assistant Coverage
QMS will provide a field assistant to cover a client site when the on-site manager is out of the office for any reason. The field assistant will be thoroughly trained in all aspects of the office support services functions within that particular client site. All QMS field assistants are trained at each client site. He/she will follow all policies and procedures put in place by QMS and/or the organization. If the on-site manager is going to be out of the office, the client will be informed so they’re aware that a field assistant is on-site for the day.
Training and Development
All of our facilities management (FM) employees are trained in our shop by managers from several different departments. We also provide off-site training in areas of customer service and technology skills enhancement. Employees must have a minimum of six months tenure with QMS, demonstrated reliability and superior work ethic in order to be considered for placement at a client site. Qualities QMS instills in its employees are to consistently provide superior service with a smile, ensure our clients are always satisfied and collaborate with co-workers at other client sites to share best practices. In addition to the training we provide, QMS employees are occasionally trained by an organizations personnel to ensure internal processes are followed accordingly when transitioning internal duties to QMS. At that time QMS will share ideas on how to enhance the existing processes based on our expertise with a specific service offering.
